Both, just because it’s a lot more exciting to expand the varieties!

Is fashion world / modeling world really that competitive?
I definitely think it is, because for example, putting a group of sexy ladies in one room together will get super competitive, thinking one another is better then another.

What are your hobbies?
I love dancing, I’m a hip hop dancer, so in spare time I join up with my dance crew izz’Maticz and we practice for hours.

Girlie Girl or a Tomboy?
Definitely a tomboy due to the fact, I grew up with 3 others! I love cars, I love playing games, fishing, football, all the manly thing a girlie girl wouldn’t prefer to do!

What has been your favorite photo shoot?
I’d have to say my photo shoot I did with Photo-G (Xufa). It was a shower/bath/hotel room theme, and I didn’t just shoot by myself, I had a sexy male model too

Is there an adrenalin rush when you are behind the camera?
Hmm.. not really! I guess you can say I’ve grown use to it.

What do you think about before stepping onto a shoot?
What kind of poses I would do so that the theme and my outfit I’ll be rocking in front of the camera will be synchronize in some ways.

Umm.. none actually!

Has anyone in the industry asked you to change your look?
Yes! I was a fashion model to begin with and a photographer I had worked with told me I don’t have the fashion look and qualifications, but he also added that I probably should turn my route of wanting to be a fashion model into a bikini/lingerie/import model and so I did!

How do you keep a fit and healthy body?
Well to be very honest, my only work out I get is from hip hop dancing, I don’t do much of any daily exercise routines LOL, but the reason my body stay fit and healthy is due to my high metabolism which I know won’t stay high long.

Who is your favorite photographer?
Photo-G! Still photography, photo shopping and ideas are incredible!

A little piece of advice for new models?
Keep your head up high no matter the criticisms. Follow dreams! Here’s one of my favorite quote I’d like to share “Better to pursue a dream, then to live a life of regret” S don’t regret, pursue it!

I prefer to shoot on location. It’s more exciting, and challenging. The possibilities are endless! Plus, I’m a farm girl so I hate being cooped up indoors!!!

What has been your favorite photo shoot?
My favorite photo shoot was with, Brian Treiber, from Baltimore AKA ‘BPHOTOGRAPHIC’. It was on location, which is my favorite. Plus, he made me laugh the entire time!

Is there an adrenalin rush when you are behind the camera?
I don’t feel an adrenalin rush behind the camera. I only feel what I’m suppose to feel for the concept of the shoot. I love being the object behind the camera. It’s just natural for me.
Adrenaline comes from fashion shows for me, because you are in front of a lot of people. That’s when you really have to work it!

What do you think about before stepping onto a shoot?
“LETS DO THIS!” With that thought, you can never go wrong!

Do you have an interesting happening from a photo shoot, or a casting?
No, they all run pretty smooth. I’m an easy going person, so I just go with the flow!

Has anyone in the industry asked you to change your look?
No, because I can give many different looks! I’m not afraid to switch it up, and everyone knows that! If I was ever asked to, it would be no problem. That’s what modeling is all about, showing more than just one look!

What do you think is your X factor?
I will let you decide

How do you keep a fit and healthy body?
I’m a very active hard working person, so I don’t have time to mess around and snack on “goodies”!
I love to work out, and keep my body looking the way a model’s body should look. It’s not about just being skinny or thin, it’s about keeping your body fit and healthy. Diet is a huge factor! I don’t eat many carbs or sugars. I love to cook and bake, so I rarely eat out. That’s the key; don’t eat out or eat fast food!!!! Eating live foods will make you feel more alive!!

Who is your favorite photographer?
I’ve never been disappointed by a photographer, so I can’t choose just one

A little piece of advice for new models?
“Stick to your guns”!!!!
There are many people out there that will try and push you further than what you are willing to go. Push back and say, “NO!”

It varies on who is the photographer. I am more of a warm up girl. If I know the photographer..it’s a peice of cake.

Oh yes, I love to do shoots that always have me doing crazy things. ex. lying on top of a corvette, swimming in water. jumping on a trampoline. Its awesome… Im not afraid to get go the distance to get great pictures..

I think, of what i have to work with, what poses will work great for the certain shoot. an then i tell myself go get them girl!! lol

No actually i havent, I think I am my hardest critic. I always push myself to get more toned?fit. noone has told me to change anything, I get told i have good features instead. But to all girls out there you should let noone tell you different, You are you are an never change something because someone told you, just listen to what you want. I got my breast done, An i go them done because it was something i wanted done for a long time, not because others told me to.. Do what makes you happy…

How do you keep a fit and healthy body?
Im not going to lie i eat a lot, food is my best friend I keep in shape by going to the gym four times a week, an i dance every weekend at winnipegs popular night club. Republic. No im not a stripper, Its go go dancing totally different, we have clothes on an we dance on the stage an get the crown pump up an dance.. Like energy dancers, we dance to hip-hop,dancehall.reggaton. Its just a good workout, an i go for walks with my puppies…

Who is your favorite photographer?
I love all the photographers that ive worked with, but i have to say tony nardella wa one of my favs.

A little piece of advice for new models?
Just be careful with with photographers, if your starting out, Make sure you ask for reference check an meet first with them before the shoot, So you can get to know them, There some photographers outthere who are not exactly at the same interest as you. Always be careful for that, Also if your not comfortable with something make sure you let them know. An always stay true to yourself… I cannot think of anything else. No, i don’t think the fashion world / modeling world is competitive because anything is possible as long as you put a lot of effort into it.

What are your hobbies?
I LOVE singing, playing pool, long walks on the beach, i love to laugh, have fun, meet people, and take pictures.

What has been your favorite photo shoot?
I loved all of my photo shoots, especially the ones that are outdoors because it makes me feel free. It brings your imagination into life and it gets captured for everyone to see.

Actually, at first, I tend to be a little timid, but all of the photographers that I have worked with have made it so easy for me to just be myself and all of the pictures came out to be what I have imagined and more.

I think about how much fun it would be to just be yourself and work with photographers that are very talented.

I prefer on location shoots because the environment is so much more interactive and the possibilities are endless.

Is fashion world / modeling world really that competitive?
It is. There is an ridicilous amount of people in the modeling world, even in small markets and you always have to be tip top shape to compete with them.

What are your hobbies?
Other than modeling, which I am trying to make a full-time career, I love outdoor adventures and modifying/racing my car.

What has been your favorite photo shoot?
A nighttime garage photo shoot with my own car and a photographer fron Hot Import Nights. It was fun, sultry and sexy and remains my favorite to this day.

Absolutely. All your problems dissolve when your behind the camera and in that mind frame. Its an exquisite feeling.

Do you prefer on location or in the studio?
I love doing both. While you’re on location, there are different sceneries where you don’t expect it’ll be picture perfect. Like for an example, a really rough out edgey alley way. WHO would want a picture there right? But right when you put the right equipment to it, it’s picture perfect. It makes it STAND OUT. LIKE WHOA! As for studio, it’s more just about “YOU” & it’s simple.

Is fashion world / modeling world really that competitive?
Yes I believe it is. Every girl/guy out there put in their effort to look their best, come out with the best poses/style of pictures. Not every picture that comes out ends up being picture perfect to your own eyes, but to others it’s like a WOW!

What are your hobbies?
Other than modeling, I love to rap/sing, dance, write, & spend as much time as I can with my friends & family.

There was this one time where I had 2 photoshoots in one day & an event after both. Oh my, it was super crazy. Woke up at 8:30a to my photoshoot with JMuag, next 4p photoshoot with Jeremiah, then 9p head straight to the club. I had to shower, change my hair, do my own make up. BLAH! I didn’t even have time to even eat! I went crazy! Lol

What do you think about before stepping onto a shoot?
I need music & water of course! Then after that I work with what I can in front of the camera & think of all these major poses I like to try.

Public beach in Sheboygan, WI where I had to go topless but covered (implied), hot day with hot CARS (I swear it was too too hot), freezing in a tubetop as it blows cold wind! I love crazy outdoor photoshoots! They always turn out great!

How do you keep a fit and healthy body?
I seriously don’t excercise. I walk everyday in my house most of the time to keep myself busy & I dance at the clubs. That’s pretty much the excercise I get!

Karen Nou Yang, I love that chick I swear! She always has the greatest creative ideas. No matter how you move in front of her camera, she’ll click click click. Trust me, I get picture perfect thru it. The lastest photoshoot I’ve done with her is a RETRO (I think that’s what it’s called) Photoshoot. I NEVER, thought I ever be able to look all cute & glam up

What are your hobbies?
I love to dance. I started dancing around 13, so about 11 years now. I love to karaoke. I’m not that great, but I love it. Typical asian huh? I sew, I read. And what type of girl doesn’t love shopping. I just picked up soccer, which is something I have never done before. I play volleyball. I do modeling as a small hobby. I love to travel. I’m gone every weekend traveling. I love to se new cultures, and meet new people. I love tasting different types of food. I’m always willing to try new things and explore the world with a great big smile!

All photoshoots are fun when I have them. The music! I love to have music when I’m in front of a camera. I would just dance and do my own thing while the photographer captures those beautiful moments.

When I am behind the camera? Not really. When I’m in front of the camera, I get shy. But after a few minutes, things get easier. i still have lots to learn.

What do you think about before stepping onto a shoot?
Not much. Just trying to stay focus on what the photgrapher wants. Also, “dam, my hair and make looks god!” I trust my photographer and that he will make me look amazing.

Every shoot and every show has there own exciting moment. When I do shows, I love the girls that I’m around. I love the positive energy and beautiful people.

No. I have never been asked to change my look, but if I was asked, I would probably just move on to the next client. Simple as that.

What do you think is your X factor?
Xfactor? My money maker?. Hmm, well, I would like to believe that my imperfections are what my clients look for. A simple girl next door look, not to pretty, not to ugly. I do have a kller smile though.

How do you keep a fit and healthy body?
I eat lots and lots of steak!.I love steak, medium rare. I don’t exercise. I honestly have to say that I do try, but I just can’t do it. Now, that I started soccer, I guess that’s my exercise. Once a week. I love snickers, and buter peacan ice cream. Thai food is the BEST!!

Yes, it is but more do you have the drive that will help you stand strong in the competitive world.There is a lot of up and downs.

Fishing, swimming,reading, hummm well relaxing because my days can be super packed and relaxing is something I enjoy as well,=)

I would say getting paint with liquid latex and having to challenge myself in posing because it feels so wired,=P but fun and the picture turned out great.=D

Do you prefer on location or in the studio?
It really depends because both can be fun and challenging. As long as there is a clear cut idea of what the designer/photographer/owner is looking for then I love shooting anywhere

Is fashion world / modeling world really that competitive?

Yes and sometimes you can get pretty harsh critics but for every negative you get 10 positives…if you have your mind set on success and you have the drive to push yourself that’s what really counts.

What are your hobbies?

I love being social, dancing, running, reading and hanging out with my puppies.

Both, I will play basketball in a skirt.

What has been your favorite photo shoot?

Wow, tough one. Probably the one I did with my best friend Stef because I got to help her out and we had a blast.

Behind the camera I just have fun. The adrenalin rush comes from Runway!

What do you think about before stepping onto a shoot?

I like to know the feeling/mood of the shoot so I can try to get myself there mentally…if it is light and breezy I want to get in a giggly mindset, if it is serious get in serious mood.

Do you have an interesting happening from a photo shoot, or a casting?

Doing a shoot on location I was freezing and trying to warm myself up. The location was a abandoned warehouse on a windy day. Since there were no lights just set-up outside and I had a jacket laid over me while I warmed up in the car…this caused a police officer to suspect the photographer and I were not just taking pictures…we cleared that up quickly :/

Has anyone in the industry asked you to change your look?

No not yet.

What do you think is your X factor?

I have confidence and drive. I’m probably not the prettiest or skinniest or whateverist’ but I am confident in what I do. I do my research. I know my place. And I am professional and never would dream of “flaking” on a job.

How do you keep a fit and healthy body?

Eat healthy but don’t “diet”. I weigh my options when I eat, if I know that I want to go to the movies that weekend I make sure I have healthy choices all week to get my pretzel bite fix on the weekend. I run. I do a lot of core work on the yoga ball and my secret fitness fix is pole dancing classes!! They have been my key to an all over toned body.

Who is your favorite photographer?

I can’t play favorites.

Get out there and do not be afraid to try new things. Listen and learn from everyone around you and practice, practice, practice.
