How did you get into photography? Through hobby and passion. Then people started to pay me to photograph… some experience with models in studio and in field. Mucho experience with photography and lighting techniques.

What do you typically shoot? Mostly people and places. Some product photos, events, and realestate.

Where do you typically shoot? Lake Country, WI – MKE

How do you compare shooting in the studio to on location – any preference? Total lighting control in studio, which is nice, but outdoor shots can be simply amazing with a single reflector.

How would you describe your shooting style? Emotive, clear, crisp, well-composed, and dynamic

What’s the oddest place you’ve been for a shoot? Probably a leather tannery. Wierd surroundings, but awesome

Are there any particular themes that weave through your work? Excellence. Lots of nighttime shoots as well. LEDs… dramatic lighting.

What equipment do you use? Nikon D300 w/ 18-200mm VR lens, Nikon D80 with same lens,. Hot lights. Waiting for a job which requires them to acquire a 10.5mm wide lens and a fixed 105mm.

How do you feel about digitally enhancing photos? Love it.

How would you like viewers to react when they see your images? “WOwW.”

When you show your work, do you have any particular strategy to how you select and arrange the photos? Similar lighting and color schemes are grouped together … or themes, such as exterior, nature, and so on
